Hear From Our Community

Cypress is a small and inclusive school with a small community of accepting individuals. I enjoyed my time at Cypress greatly and enrolling in this school was the best decision I’ve ever made. It’s a relaxed and welcoming environment that I feel safe in and I feel like I was able to be who I truly am there. As a shy person I’ve slowly been able to open up to others over the years and make new friends, the teachers here really care about how you’re doing and your voice. They’re always willing to support you in your academic growth and be the best version of yourself. I would also like to say that this school has a very kind and amazing counselor, although she works hard helping/meeting with other students she always makes sure to have the time to help you with anything you may need.
— Marlyn Mendoza (Class of 2023)
Cypress has a unique quality in which the students and staff operate in a structure that enables a more tailored learning experience depending on the student’s passion. Whether loud and extroverted or more quiet and introverted, the staff understand the best way to tend to that student and give them assistance and aid in a constructive and uplifting way. There will never be a moment in which you feel as if you don’t have a teacher wanting to see you succeed.
— Alex Angell (Class of 2023)
Cypress is small but that’s the beauty behind it. Cypress being a small school allows the students and staff to really build a community that’s open and caring for each other. When I came to Cypress I was terrified but in less than a week I had friends.
— Lucas DePriest (Class of 2023)
